In my composition drawing I had created 5 drawings that emphasize depression and it's symptoms. I drew the audience towards the face of the crying man by using Gestalts law of direction with the finger pointing down towards the face and the arm pointing in the direction of the face. I created emphasis via direction to make the face my focal point in the composition to grab the viewers attention. I also used contrast of different shading values such as cross hatching on the face to make it stand out from the other designs. I then created a second focal point at the bottom of the frame with light shading and bubbles to make that phrase stand out since it is an important message to grasp to understand the rest of the pictures, especially the face.
